Let's get vertical, vertical...
It's been such a busy week, I apologise for not updating my blog as much as I'd like to. I feel like I've fallen behind in scheduling posts as I'm getting back into the swing of things at uni, and the assignments and reading up have been getting to me. Plus, all this extra mounting work has caused me to suffer a horrible breakout, and I've been trying to avoid putting on make-up in case I exacerbate the problem. That really explains my lack of posts!I managed to pry myself from the comfort of my own home (and away from the books) to shoot this look just a couple of days ago. I've been very drawn to adding camel and other neutral shades to my usual monochrome palette, which is very Scandinavian-inspired, I like to think. It brightens up my whole look without compromising on my personal preference for black and white!
This outfit features two new buys from Asos - a pair of really sleek pants, which are a great basic, and the oversized striped shirt. Stripes are totally on trend right now, and I mainly picked this shirt because of the little peekabo split at the back! I can't wait to wear it for spring, paired with culottes or a midi skirt and to bear some skin. I covered up with my go-to trench from Primark - I absolutely love the colour and fit, so glad I bought it!
What did you think of my outfit today? Has everyone been as busy as I have, now that the holiday mood is officially over?
Oh I love this stripy shirt!!
