White on blue on black
I went to London for some early birthday celebrations with my best gal pals this past weekend, and spent the whole time essentially wining and dining! Some of my favourite places (which I really recommend) are Evans & Peel Detective Agency and Kanada-Ya. I also caught Let It Be, the musical which was like watching a live concert by The Beatles.
There was a lot of walking around to be done, and thank goodness the weather was forgiving on the Saturday we were there. I opted to pack some classic basics to create my usual fail-safe minimalistic look, and this is the result.
You've probably seen the Boohoo coat and H&M white trainers before, and I get a lot of wear out of my high waisted, wide-leg black trousers from Asos - strange that I haven't chronicled them in a blog post yet! My new buys here were the so-outrageous-it's-cool circular white sunnies from Primark and my high neck knit Monki top. I actually got a couple of laughs from my friends when I wore the sunnies, especially, but I couldn't say no to something that eye-catching.
I shot these outfits on the street just across from my hostel accommodation, I'm always so jealous of the beautiful, white or beige backgrounds London bloggers have! We Manchester-based bloggers have to scour the entire city for a nice backdrop.
Do stay tuned for my second outfit of my weekend away, and let me know your thoughts on this one. x
Love this simple look, and the sunnies are great, very statement. That background is amazing, I wish Manchester had somewhere a little less grey/ red to take pictures! x

ReplyDeleteI loved in london for a few months at the end of last year and loved it/hated it! I reallyyy wanted to go and see Let It Be but it was one of the more expensive ones so I settled for Made In Dagenham which was actually amazing! I think there is just something amazing about the theater!
ReplyDeleteI love your outfit here, your photos are amazing! I wish mine were like yours! Have followed on bloglovin and can't wait to see more!

ReplyDeleteBackgrounds in London can be so nice, although Manchester does have some amazing places to (and some not so amazing places).
