And the It shade for this spring is...
Nude tones have been really prolific on celebrities such as Kim K for the past few months, and are already a big hit this season. In fact, Manchester Fashion Industry is basing its upcoming event around the hue!
After seeing it being worn (and quite creatively, I might add) by so many people, I decided to jump on the bandwagon, too. Instead of the usual matchy-matchy shades found in a lot of co-ords, I mixed up a beige trench coat with mustard-camel culottes to achieve a more diverse, but still coherent, look. You've seen the coat around in previous posts (here and here), and I'm really glad I bought it from Primark! Definitely a classic piece which will stay with me for a while. The same goes for the Topshop culottes, which were a real bargain for the quality when I got them in the sale.
To break up the neutral tones, I added a high neck crop top (which is now on sale, and a great basic piece!) and matching black flats from New Look. The black flats are another new buy which, as you can see I'm getting a lot of wear out of!
Also, in case you're wondering why the background of the photos suddenly changed, it's because there were too many people walking into the shot when Oliver (who's behind these gorgeous photos) and I were at the archways! Oops. How lovely do the walls of the Manchester Central Library (and the arches of the adjacent building) complement my outfit, though?
What's your take on the nude trend? Leave me a comment below! :)
Great outfit, I love the nude tones and the background complements your outfit well. Primark do some fantastic coats, this one is such a classic x
