OOTD: Sports Luxe

Monday, 8 September 2014
Dress: Uniqlo // Necklaces: The Editor's Market and Kollidea* // Watch: tickintorque* // Bag: American Apparel // Shoes: Nike

So much for being a full-time fashion blogger - I came down with the flu almost immediately after my last post and have barely gone out as a result. It sort of put a real damper on my mood, as I'm due to return to the UK in a week and I basically spent a good portion of it in bed with the sniffles!

Maybe you can sense the impending doom with my latest outfit - I've been avoiding pastels as of late, with black being my go-to shade for this A/W season. I also finally got myself a pair of really comfy trainers, although they weren't the Roshe Runs I was looking for (sold out everywhere!). Topped off the look with statement accessories and That Iconic American Apparel Bag, with perhaps a bit too much eyeliner.

What do you all think? Anyone dreading (my last year of) uni as I am? x

OOTD: Printed Midi

Sunday, 31 August 2014
Top: The Editor's Market // Skirt: Stradivarius // Bag: Urban Outfitters // Shoes: Zara // Necklace: H&M // Sunglasses: OLLO*

A/W 14 is nearly upon us, although you can't tell where I am right now! My sunnies game is still going strong, courtesy of OLLO's awesome Rayban-esque design.

Nevertheless, I'm loving the bold and complicated prints of the season, which are featured on my (newly-bought) lightweight skirt. I decided to treat myself after recently securing a training contract, which has become more difficult with the recent influx of lawyers in Singapore. Needless to say, I'm immensely relieved!

Stradivarius has a couple of other skirts really similar to this one, and I might just get the whole set. I think they'd look fab with a chunky knit and knee-length coat! What other combinations do you think I can pull off?

OOTD: Girls' Night

Sunday, 24 August 2014
Jumpsuit, Necklace & Shoes: The Editor's Market // Bag: here & there // Watch: Tickintorque

So... I'm back! Finally ended the busy 5 weeks of back-to-back law internships here in Singapore. I've learned so much and made many new friends, but I have to admit I'm so glad that it's all over. Totally needed a breather from the hectic hustle and bustle of the working life and its monotonous wardrobe.

I went on an impulse shopping trip the other day with a friend, and happily walked away with this take on jumpsuits and culottes. Such a stunning colour as well, coincidentally recalling my primary and secondary school days, which was why I wore this to my mum's school reunion the other night.

It was adorable to see so many of my mum's classmates and teachers rekindling their friendship. I also happened to bump into the 'second generation' girls, i.e. their various daughters.

Although I had such a lovely time with everyone, I did have to help out with the event! Luckily, my RĂ¥ watch from the online store Tickintorque kept me on schedule. It really caught my eye with its wooden face and leather-like strap, and I received a lot of compliments on it from the ladies.

Keep an eye out for more posts, definitely turning into a full-time blogger now that I'm free x

OOTD: Palazzo Pants

Monday, 28 July 2014
Necklace: here & there // Top: Asos // Pants: The Tinsel Rack // Heels: The Editor's Market

Hello all! I've been photographing a slew of work-appropriate outfits which can double up for a less formal day out, and this is one of them.

I'm studying to be a lawyer, who are well known for their 'uniform' of white shirt and black bottoms. Here, I did the exact opposite, opting for draped fabric which remain professional because of the quality of the material. I also added a bit of bling, recently bought from the Public Garden Flea, to avoid making the outfit look too boring.

While I'm a big fan of the palazzo pants cut, I was disappointed with the pair I'm wearing in the photos. The rise and length of the pants were obviously made with shorter and smaller girls in mind, definitely not those with a tush like me! Really need to find some local blogshops which aren't size-ist!

OOTD: Jungle Fever

Monday, 21 July 2014
Dress: Dorothy Perkins // Heels: The Editor's Market // Blazer: Asos

I recently discovered that F3 Singapore (which offers promotions in relation to certain high-street brands) has recently launched W.O.W. - What's on Wednesdays. Essentially, Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge and Topman have amazing deals every Wednesday!

You can imagine how pleased I was with snapping up this luxe dress at 30% off last week. It's a huge discount and makes keeping up with the latest styles so much more pocket-friendly. This tropical dress is also totally quality, so you know you're definitely getting bang for your buck!

Check out F3 Singapore's website for more information on further W.O.W.s!

OOTD: Out for a Spin

Monday, 14 July 2014
Top: New Look // Skirt: Thread Theory // Bag: Asos // Shoes: The Editor's Market

I seem to have every single pastel colour that exists, but they're such great complements to otherwise stark hues. I'm wearing this fabulous midi skirt with a top I've worn before - it's got lovely pleats and is made of a heavier material, great for swinging round the city! I also like the organza detail at the hem, so gorgeous I had to buy 2 of them (in different colours of course).

OOTD: The Editor's Market

Sunday, 6 July 2014
Top, Pants and Shoes: The Editor's Market

Yup, all 3 pieces are from my latest haul at The Editor's Market shop over at Cineleisure Orchard in Singapore! They have an attractive deal where the more pieces you buy, the less each individual item costs, so ofc I grabbed this whole bunch.

I was originally looking for some black culottes, but realised the longer version (known as palazzo pants) can be doubled up as workwear. Plus how cute is that swingy crop, not tight-fitting at all like the other ones I own. The heels, though, are probably my best buy - they're so comfy and I love how they keep my feet nice and cool without compromising on the style factor. Love the huge cuff at my ankle!

Let me know in the comments what you think of this get-up xx
